Rent Types

About the Property
Restaurant & Bar with beautiful building and land for sale. I bought this property in 2024 as our third location but never actually opened it due to unexpected personal problems. Located in Atchison, Kansas the property sits right across the street from the Missouri River (but is not in any flood plain). 70-seat restaurant plus bar and patio and full commercial kitchen with ovens, fryers, cooktop, grill, dishwasher, ice machine, walk-in refrigerator and freezer and more comprise about 3,000 square feet on the main level. On the second level is another approximately 3,000 square feet of event space with a second bar, eating area, dance/party area and prep kitchen and even a passenger elevator and dumb waiter. Nice bathrooms on both levels. The rear of the building is approximately 10,000 square feet of unfinished space between two levels which is also zoned commercial and could be used for just about anything from residential space, storage or retail. The business is not currently open and has not been opened for several years but does not need much work to get it open. The previous owners did several upgrades to the kitchen, ADA compliance and A/C system. As far as licensing/permits go, the local government seems very excited to work with the new owner to get this restaurant back open as it serves as the centerpiece of the river walk area so occupancy, health and liquor licenses should not be a problem to obtain.. Atchison is a small city of about 11,000 people, has a growing private college and is the headquarters of MGP Ingredients, a large publicly-traded distiller, and is only 45 minutes from Kansas City, MO. Price is $349,000 which is well below a recent appraisal and includes building, land and all existing equipment, furniture and fixtures. I am a real person so please do not bother with silly scams. No owner financing - I bought it with 20% down and a 15 year mortgage from a local bank so I would assume they would do the same for the next owner. DM for more information.
