A sign that says Duncan Box and Lumber Co. is painted on the front facade of the building between the first and second floor. The windows are flat headed, six over six, wood, double hung, sash. The top of the window arch is infilled with a wood panel on all floors. Windows are a combination of original wood and new plexi glass fixed pane with interior grids. The main building has eleven bays with a man door entrance on the first floor, first bay to the north. Foundation is brick. The roof is membrane. On the two story section there is a shed roof, framed in painted metal, which slopes north to south. The second most notable structure is the former Duncan Box Hardware Store building. This is a two story wire cut brick building, with approximately 4,200 sq ft available at ground level and an additional 1,600 sq ft second story. It has a hip asphalt shingle roof and the foundation is concrete. The building is ideally situated for commercial redevelopment and the building is available for lease or sale. Sale price is $150,000. The third structure located on the south side of Van Buren is a 6,800 sq ft concrete block warehouse with covered dock area and metal roof. Sale price for this building is $75,000. The fourth structure located on the north side of Van Buren is a 12,500 sq ft, open span block warehouse with shingle roof.
