Park Overview
With Phase I now open at 10th & Capitol Streets in Downtown Omaha, the Capitol District is a destination dining and entertainment district serving Eastern Nebraska and Western Iowa. The District will surround a football field size urban plaza that will serve as a modern-day version of the town square. At the center of Omaha' s entertainment corridor and hotels, the District enjoys Omaha' s only Entertainment District Liquor License and has a robust marketing and programming plan to help ensure a vibrant and exciting atmosphere and significant traffic generation. This prime location is directly across the street form Omaha' s CenturyLink Arena and Convention Center, steps from TD Ameritrade Park (home of the College World Series), and one block from Omaha' s prized Holland Performing Arts Center. In addition to the already active scene the $250M project is anchored by the 333-room, full service, Omaha Marriott Downtown Capitol District; 218 apartments; 90,000 feet of entertainment retail to house up to 20 diverse establishments; 50,000 feet of Class A office space, and an abundance of convenient,accessible parking.
