Gerardo (Toro’s Founder) grew up between Mexico and Texas, and naturally, as his family originates from the beautiful countryside of Valle De Ruega, Santander in the North of Spain, he visited Spain to find himself falling in love with its traditions, food, and most of all the wine. He then immersed himself in its culture and travel four months throughout Spain to try the wide variety of flavors it had to offer. He teamed up with his sister Vanessa and opened the original location in Stone Oak. Toro’s mission is to provide guests the finest Spanish cuisine and dining experience.
