Kurt Grundman, Managing Director/COO
Kurt has been successful representing both local and national tenants. His specialty is developing initial market strategies for emerging concepts. Most recently he has successfully rolled out the following tenants in Northern California: Pieology, Crunch Fitness, Umami Burger, Veggie Grill, Cricket Wireless, Starbucks, Fat Noodle, Pressed Juicery, Kendra Scott and RPM45.
Through the years he has forged strong relationships with several Bay Area landlords including; Federal Realty, ROIC, City Center Realty Partners, Veritas, Regency, Kimco and Related. These relationships have been great assets when looking for off market sites or securing a location months prior to it’s vacancy.
With experience in retail, office and mixed-use projects, Kurt brings a diverse skill set to the team at Lockehouse.
Originally from Appleton, Wisconsin, Kurt studied business at St. Norbert’s College in Green Bay. He has lived in Bay area for 20 years and currently resides in San Francisco with his wife Sofia, and sons Austin and Kaleb.
Caroline Lewis, Associate
Before entering the commercial real estate sector, Caroline held roles in both corporate and entrepreneurial environments, gaining valuable experience in business development, client relations, and operations management. Her earlier career in the fitness industry provided additional expertise in team leadership and wellness programming.
Caroline, originally from the Bay Area, moved to Oregon for college where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Oregon. Her love for the Bay Area brought her back, and now, with her diverse professional experience, she’s eager to build meaningful connections and deliver strategic value in the commercial real estate industry.
Outside of work, Caroline enjoys spending time outdoors with her black lab, Hank, and engages in activities like hiking, fishing, woodworking, and home-improvement projects. A former competitive bodybuilder and powerlifter, she remains passionate about fitness. Additionally, Caroline is a classically trained singer, and music continues to be an important part of her life.
