LEASING TEAM
Jon-Michael Brock, Principal
He grew up in Spartanburg SC, among a family full of real estate brokers and developers. He studied real estate at the College of Charleston, graduating with a degree in Communication.
Prior to Lee & Associates, Jon-Michael worked his way up the ranks at Charleston’s King Street Commercial. He began as an intern, managing large multi-family leasing and development projects. He also headed up large-scale renovations of historic homes and student housing in Downtown Charleston, as well as multi-family housing in North Charleston.
After that successful internship, Jon-Michael began his professional brokerage career at King Street Commercial in 2016, doing general brokerage. Later he moved to SVN Commercial Real Estate Advisors where he concentrated on industrial and multi-family before Joining Lee & Associates Charleston.
Outside the office, Jon Michael participates in Charleston’s Young Commercial Broker association – which he also founded. In his spare time, he enjoys group traveling and spending time on the water.
Alex Whittemore, Vice President
Before transitioning into brokerage, Alex served as a Market Researcher at Lee & Associates, where he developed a deep understanding of the Charleston industrial market through extensive zoning research, database management, and transaction analysis.
A Charleston native, Alex earned his Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Alabama, concentrating in Real Estate and Investment Management.
Dillon Claffey, Associate
Previously, Dillon worked as a Market Researcher at Lee & Associates, where he supported the brokerage team by providing research, data visualization, and holistic market expertise for a wide range of objectives. Dillon’s responsibilities included developing and maintaining tenant comparable, conducting ownership and historical property research, and preparing information for quarterly market research reports and company publications.
He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from The College of Charleston, majoring in Commercial Real Estate Development with a minor in Project Management. During college, he interned at Clement, Crawford & Thornhill, gaining valuable industry exposure and experience that continue to contribute to his success in the field.
In his free time, Dillon enjoys spending time on the water, playing pickleball and tennis, and riding dirt bikes.
