Leasing Team

Gabe Temkin, Partner
Gabe is a fourth-generation industrial real estate professional. He began his brokerage career with Kidder Mathews, specializing in industrial sales and leasing throughout the greater Puget Sound region. In 2012, Gabe was awarded the company’s Rookie of the Year honor, recognizing his unmatched success for a first-year broker. In 2014, Gabe transferred to Burr & Temkin, where he shifted his focus to brokerage and consulting for the transportation sector. Gabe joined KBC in 2019, and in 2022 his interest in multi-story urban logistics (coupled with his affinity for dollar slice pizza) prompted a move from his longtime hometown of Seattle to Manhattan. In his current capacity, Gabe has expanded his knowledge within the e-commerce/logistics sector working on portfolio growth and optimization with some of the largest users and institutional owners in the country. Specifically in New York City, Gabe has been involved in the leasing of over 3.1M square feet of multi-story industrial space.

Outside of real estate, Gabe spends his time e-foiling, standing on his head in local hot yoga studios, fulfilling a goal of traveling to all fifty states and seven continents by 2027, and waiting patiently for the Sonics to return to Seattle.
David Johnson, Partner
David joined KBC to co-lead the New York business with Gabe Temkin, further expanding the firm’s footprint across the region.

With nearly 20 years of industrial real estate experience across the tri-state area, David has played a pivotal role in shaping some of the most impactful last-mile logistics and industrial outdoor storage (IOS)/electric vehicle (EV) developments in New York City (NYC).

Prior to joining KBC, David was a partner and the head of acquisitions at Wildflower LTD ($2.5B AUM), a leading logistics and infrastructure development company, where he was a major contributor to many groundbreaking projects throughout the New York Metropolitan area. He also spent time at Eastern Consolidated as a brokerage professional, where he specialized in uncovering and negotiating the sale of development sites and value-add properties throughout NYC.
