À la fin des années 1970, un petit entrepôt frigorifique appelé Conn Freezer Warehouse ouvre ses portes dans la basse vallée de l'Hudson, au service des clients qui souhaitent entreposer leurs denrées périssables congelées à une courte distance en voiture de New York.
