W. Carter Byrnes, Executive Vice President
Carter Byrnes joined Stream Realty Partners in March 2022 as an Executive Vice President in the Northern Virginia office. He will be responsible for office tenant and landlord representation, as well as leading healthcare real estate services. He is licensed in Virginia and Maryland.

Carter spent more than 18 years at CBRE, starting as a Senior Associate and working his way up to Senior Vice President. During his tenure, he was a founder of the Northern Virginia leasing team and built a healthcare practice group from the ground up. He is credited with negotiating over 3.1 million square feet of lease and sale transactions with an aggregate value of over $525 million. Prior to his time at CBRE, Carter was a market analyst with Insignia/ESG, which merged with CBRE in 2003.
Erik McLaughlin, Co-Managing Director
Erik McLaughlin started at Stream Realty Partners in March 2022 as a Co-Managing Director. He will focus on creating and implementing effective marketing campaigns and handling all aspects of lease negotiations for clients. He will work to recruit and train top talent to join the firm to further develop the strategies and expertise needed by our partners and customers.

Prior to joining Stream, Erik spent more than 15 years with CBRE, serving as a Senior Vice President in the Northern Virginia market. He also worked with Trammell Crow and Grubb & Ellis, giving him more than 27 years of commercial real estate experience.
Jeff Roman, Co-Managing Director
Jeff Roman joined Stream Realty Partners as a Co-Managing Director in March 2022. He is responsible for helping lead Northern Virginia’s leasing and landlord representation efforts with his creative strategies and collaborative approaches. He is an expert in leasing, build-to-suits, and joint ventures.

Prior to joining Stream, Jeff spent 35 years at CBRE, where he last served as a Senior Vice President in the Northern Virginia market. He was responsible for negotiating over 10 million square feet of transactions worth more than $1 billion during his tenure. He briefly worked in the National Accounts Division of IBM Corp. before beginning his career in commercial real estate.
