ABOUT THE PROPERTY

The historic Shea’s Seneca building is located at the heart of the Seneca Street commercial corridor. Originally constructed in 1929 by Michael Shea (who also built Shea’s Buffalo and North Park Theater), the building is a defining South Buffalo landmark and has long served as a central social and economic hub of the community. The property is ideally located steps from Cazenovia Park and down the street from Mercy Hospital and Trocaire College. Upon completion in January of 2019, the project now features 23 high-end apartments, a 450-seat banquet facility run by The Show, a cafe and bakery run by Public Espresso, April Spencer Floral Design, a craft beer store/bar by Bottle Rocket Buffalo. This project was completed on January 10th, 2019 and is now on the National Register of Historic Places.
