Sam Higgins, Market Leader
After 4 years of headhunting, a couple start-ups, then the dot com bust, Sam Higgins began his commercial real estate career in 2001 focusing on the East Bay Industrial Market. Sam came to KBC from Cushman & Wakefield with his great friend and business partner, Tom Damaschino, to open up KBC Nor Cal in Spring of 2021. Spending much of his time on client boondoggles, he still finds a way to be incredibly productive leasing and selling industrial real estate. Fortunately the folks at Prologis, Link, CenterPoint, Westcore, DWS, Duke, Conor/McShane and others like working with him. He provides expertise and strategy to owners and occupiers leveraging his relationships and market knowledge. Sam is a member of SIOR, and has served as President of the East Bay Brokers Association.

Born in San Francisco and native of the East Bay, Sam is a very proud father of his two sons Taylor (17) and Brady (14), and wife to Wendy of 21 years. His favorite activities include hiking and skiing the Sierra’s, mountain biking, golf, traveling, and getting his butt kicked at Orange Theory. Sam graduated from Chico State with a Bachelor of Science, and played for their DII soccer team. Couple fun facts: Sam lived in Seoul, Korea with his family for 3 years when he was 9 years old and was a Semester at Sea voyager in spring 1993. He is also a professional chef on the Green Egg (ask about Higgy Chicken)
