ABOUT EL SEGUNDO

El Segundo has long been synonymous with the aerospace and defense industry, home to names like Northrup Grumman, Raytheon, and Boeing. While these companies still have footprints in the area, the aviation industry has contracted considerably during the past several decades. The area fortunately has evolved and now possesses a more diverse tenancy. In recent years, El Segundo has emerged as an attractive location for tech firms and startups. Steven Solomon, Senior Executive Vice President
Steve Solomon joined Colliers in 2021 as a Senior Executive Vice President., specializing in the leasing and sale of office properties, and tenant consulting in the Los Angeles area.  He joined us from a competitive firm, where he was tasked with opening the South Bay office in 2007, and spent 17 years.   Steve has over 30 years of experience in the acquisition and disposition of investments including office, land, medical, industrial and retail properties.  He is recognized for his in-depth market knowledge, tenacity and long-standing client relationships.  Steve has completed some of the most prominent transactions in the region over the course of his career, totaling over $7 Billion dollars in volume and encompassing over 44 million square feet.  Steve provides site selection studies, real estate planning and analysis, lease analysis, appraisal, financing, construction and sales.
Kristen Bowman, First Vice President
Kristen Bowman is a creative office specialist with more than 7 years’ of experience representing owners and tenants across the Lower Westside and South  Bay markets. She represents both institutional and entrepreneurial tenants and landlords and she has leased over 4 MM square feet in transactions. Focusing  her primarily agency practice on creative related repositionings, Kristen represents a variety of creative office adaptive reuse projects and buildings of  historical significance. Kristen’s clients include Starwood Capital, Worthe Real Estate Group, Walton Street Capital, DivcoWest, and Montana Avenue Capital Partners.

Ms. Bowman holds a B.S. from the School of Architecture inCity and Regional Planning at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo,  which has cultivated her love of architecture and design.  Kristen was a 2018 CoStar Power Broker of the Year.
