Bob Ryan, Managing Director
In representing landlords, Mr. Ryan is responsible for evaluating assets and developing a marketing and leasing or sale strategy incorporating target market planning, creating market awareness to both tenants and the brokerage community, presenting properties to prospective tenants or purchasers and negotiating business terms of transactions.
In representing occupiers of Mr. Ryan consults with companies to evaluate their occupancy needs through a thorough analysis including financial, operation and qualitative criteria and gaining consensus within an organization. Subsequently, Mr. Ryan then works with corporations to develop and implement an occupancy strategy based on the criteria developed.
Prior to joining Jones Lang LaSalle, Mr. Ryan was a Vice President of Brokerage at CBRE in New Jersey where he began his commercial real estate career in 2000. Mr. Ryan has represented corporations with acquisitions and dispositions including Advanstar Communications, Everest RE, Ford Motor Co., Sanofi-aventis, and the University of Phoenix. Additionally, Mr. Ryan has represented owners with lease and sale dispositions including Brickman Associates, Fortis Property Group, Glenborough Realty Trust, Normandy Real Estate Partners and Hampshire Real Estate Companies.
Prior to his real estate career, Mr. Ryan worked at National Starch & Chemical Company’s world headquarters in Bridgewater, New Jersey for 10 years. In his last position, as a Sales Specialist, he was responsible for oversight of the Specialty Adhesives Division’s largest clients.
John Buckley, Executive Vice President
John is a member of JLL’s Life Science Practice Group and focuses on providing clients with strategic solutions to their specialized facility needs. John’s expertise in the life science industry has resulted in the sale or lease of over 2 million square feet of laboratory, R&D and manufacturing facilities, including the disposition of Hoffman-LaRoche’s 1.5 million square foot R&D headquarters in Nutley, NJ for which John was awarded the NAIOP Deal of the Year Award in 2016.
2016 NAIOP deal of the year and multiple headquarters transactions, John is widely recognized as a top broker in his market. John has also be recognized within JLL as a “Top Achiever” based on revenue generated from 2013-2018.
Mr. Buckley has successfully completed deals on behalf of Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, Ferring Pharmaceuticals, King Pharmaceuticals, IEEE, Travelers Insurance, HCT Packaging, Ports America, Southwest Securities and Log-Net.
Prior to joining Jones Lang LaSalle, Mr. Buckley was an Associate of The Staubach Company’s New Jersey office. He joined Jones Lang LaSalle in July of 2008 as a result of the merger with The Staubach Company. Prior to The Staubach Company, Mr. Buckley was employed with Goldman Sachs & Co as an analyst in the firm’s Client Services Group.
Mr. Buckley was also an active participant in Community Outreach by Athletes who Care about Helping (C.O.A.C.H) program.
Thomas Romano, Managing Director
Prior to joining JLL in 2019, Tom led the local Princeton, New Jersey office for Colliers International for more than six years.
Throughout his career, Tom has represented a diverse portfolio of companies. He has completed transactions totaling more than 4.75 million square feet with an aggregate value of more than $450 million. His reputation and skill precede him among his peers as a market leader.
Tom has been a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) for the past 20 years. He has also been a regular recipient of the CoStar Power Broker recognition during
his career.
