Matthew achieved his Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) Designation in 2016, distinguishing him as one of the youngest designees in the state of Louisiana at the time. Fewer than 10% of all commercial practitioners hold this designation nationwide. During his CCIM candidacy, he was awarded the 2013 Louisiana CCIM Scholarship. Matthew’s professional memberships include the Greater Baton Rouge Association of REALTORS® Commercial Investment Division (’16, ’17, & ’18 Board Member), the Louisiana CCIM Chapter, and the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).

Matthew has represented Associated Grocers, The Brighton School, The GEO Foundation, IDEA Charter School, The Ascension Parish School Board, Synergy Bank, The Kolache Kitchen, French Truck Coffee & Soji.

As a developer, Matthew has successfully redeveloped two under-utilized buildings in Baton Rouge’s Mid City district. The projects are now home to the New Orleans based French Truck Coffee at 2978 Government St. & Soji at 5050 Government St.

Matthew enjoys spending quality time with his wife, Claire, son Clark (4), and their daughter Campbell (2).

Matthew is a lifelong resident of Baton Rouge, LA. He earned his B.S. in International Trade & Finance at Louisiana State University in 2010. Matthew was recruited to join Saurage Rotenberg Commercial Real Estate, LLC in January of 2011 with the goal of learning from its Founders, Hank Saurage and Edward Rotenberg, along with the large number of experienced brokers already practicing at the firm.
