Prior to joining JLL, Ray was Senior Vice President with CB Richard Ellis’ Long Island regional office for 18 years. Ray joined CB Richard Ellis from Koll Real Estate Services where he was Vice President. He also was formerly with Cushman & Wakefield of Long Island, where he acted as tenant and landlord representative.
He has been awarded the CoStar Power Broker award consistently from 2007 through 2010.
Ray holds a bachelor of science in economics from New York University.
He is a current Board Member Commercial Industrial Broker Society (CIBS) for which he served as President in 2007 and 2008.
Ray is also a member of the Long Island Chapter of CoreNet Global (Corporate Real Estate Network).
Ray is also an active participant in local charities such as The Long Island Real Estate division of the March of Dimes and The United Way.
John Nielsen, Vice President
Prior to joining the Long Island Office, John was a financial analyst in JLL’s Work Dynamics service line. In this role, he oversaw the reporting and analysis of his client’s national capital investment budget for Project Development Services. Prior to graduating college, John also worked within JLL’s research division, providing market analyses in support of the Long Island office’s brokerage efforts.
John graduated from Saint Anselm College with a degree in Financial Economics in 2014, while serving as a member of the men’s basketball team. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family as well as playing golf and basketball, he is also an active member of the Commercial Industrial Brokers Society of Long Island (CIBS-LI).
