Rent Types
The rent amount and type that the tenant (lessee) will be responsible to pay to the landlord (lessor) throughout the lease term is negotiated prior to both parties signing a lease agreement. About the Property
The Fundy Quay project is a catalytic project for Saint John involving a key waterfront development site which has been actively pursued for many years. The multi-phase mixed use development by Fundy Harbour Group will include five buildings having a total floor area of 69,700 square meters. At full build out, this project is zoned for 677 top-tier dwelling units and over 400 internal parking spaces. The ground floor of each building will be commercial/retail space in order to bring a vibrant tenant and public experience to the site. The mix of uses will bring additional residential density to the Central Peninsula and will bring additional animation to waterfront on a 24/7 basis through increased activity and public space improvements including an extension of Harbour Passage, publicly accessible open space and through leveraging improvements to the adjacent market slip public space. The South-West at Fundy Quay will be home to 79 luxury apartments along with 14,000sqft of ground floor retail space and another 10,000sqft of patio space. The retail spaces look onto the water and are accessible by the active transportation path known as Harbour Passage. Large south and west facing windows provide an abundance of natural light for operators to host customers in these retail spaces. The South-West at Fundy Quay is located next to the cruise ship terminals at Port Saint John, making these spaces ideal to attract the more than 230,000 cruise ship passengers and crew that come to Saint John.
