Technology firms have driven job growth in New York City over the past decade, and as a result, TAMI (Technology, Advertising, Media and Information) tenants have been the backbone of New York's robust leasing activity over that span. Gregg Rothkin, Executive Vice President
Gregg A. Rothkin is an Executive Vice President in the Agency Group. Since joining the Agency Group in March 1999, Mr. Rothkin has been actively involved in all aspects of owner representation for numerous institutional and entrepreneurial landlords, as well dispositions for large corporate users—arranging, structuring and negotiating transactions on their behalf.

Mr. Rothkin is well respected in the industry for his creativity, market knowledge and dedication to his clients. Prior to joining CBRE, Mr. Rothkin practiced commercial real estate and bankruptcy litigation.
Ross Zimbalist, Senior Vice President
Ross Zimbalist joined CBRE’s Midtown office in 2006. He focuses his practice primarily within the Midtown South submarket of Manhattan, which includes neighborhoods such as Union Square, Flatiron, Chelsea, SoHo, Hudson Square, and Park Avenue South. As a result of his knowledge and expertise in the marketplace, Ross has represented some of Midtown South’s most prominent tenants and landlords.

Prior to joining CBRE, Mr. Zimbalist was a Director at the Hunter Realty Organization, a boutique real estate company in New York City, where he concentrated on tenant representation.
Arkady Smolyansky, Senior Vice President
Arkady Smolyansky is a Senior Vice President in the New York City office of CBRE, the world’s largest commercial real estate firm. As a tenant representative specialist, Arkady advises a variety of local, national and international firms on evaluating and implementing strategic real estate plans. Arkady bases his practice on cultivating exclusive, long-term relationships with clients, an approach that has enabled him to structure a wide range of complex leasing transactions totaling nearly 5,000,000 square feet on behalf of tenants and landlords.

With extensive knowledge of the New York City real estate market, Arkady—an eight-time recipient of CBRE’s market leadership award—devises creative deals for his clients in the leasing, acquisition and disposition of commercial properties/office space, utilizing sophisticated relocation methods and occupancy cost reduction strategies. In addition to representing a strong roster of tenants, Arkady represents landlords on assets throughout Manhattan. He currently advises the LeFrak Organization as the leasing agent for 40 West 57th Street, a prestigious 850,000-sq.-ft. office property in the Plaza District, and he represents Boston Properties in leasing 399 Park Avenue, a prominent full-block 1.7 million-sq.-ft. building, as well as 599 Lexington Avenue, a one million-sq.-ft. office tower. He is also part of the teams that are repositioning the Olayan Group/RXR/Chelsfield’s 550 Madison Avenue, EQ Office’s(Blackstone's) 1740 Broadway and The Georgetown Company’s redevelopment at 787 Eleventh Avenue. Arkady‘s ability to understand the ramifications of a transaction from both the landlord and tenant side enables him to devise creative and effective real estate solutions for his clients.

Prior to joining CBRE’s Brokerage Services Group in 2008, Arkady participated in the firm’s highly competitive Wheel Program, an 18-month rotational program designed to give young brokerage professionals a well-rounded foundation in the commercial real estate industry. Arkady’s commercial real estate career began in 2005, as an intern for CBRE’s Investment Properties Group.

Arkady is a proud graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University, where he was a four-year member of the Men’s Varsity Tennis team and founded the Finance Club, serving as President for several years. Arkady most recently founded and launched an annual scholarship fund at the University where he was also recognized as the top 50 Under 50 alumni leaders in business in 2015.  He emigrated from the former Soviet Union to the U.S. in 1989, previously lived in Italy and Austria, and frequently travels internationally.
Trevor Larkin, Senior Associate
Trevor Larkin is a Senior Associate at CBRE in the firm’s Advisory & Transaction Services Group in New York City. Mr. Larkin is responsible for generating new business and for developing and implementing real estate strategies for both office and retail clients in the New York Tri-State region.

Prior to joining the A&T Services Group, Mr. Larkin worked as a Financial Analyst in CBRE’s Research and Asset Services groups. During his tenure in Asset Services, Mr. Larkin focused on creating new business opportunities, where he assisted in winning and transitioning over 8.6 million square feet of office and retail space throughout New York City, Long Island and Connecticut.

Hayden Pascal  is a Vice President at CBRE.
Peter Turchin, Vice Chairman
Peter Turchin is a Vice Chairman with CBRE focusing solely on owner representation in New York City.  As the longest standing member and co-leader of the firm’s Agency Group, Mr. Turchin has become known throughout the city as a specialist for building repositions and ground up construction.  His notable agency projects include towers 250 West 55th Street, Times Square Tower, The New York Times Building, and 3, 4 and 7 at World Trade Center.  Mr. Turchin has been awarded as a Top Leasing Broker from Co-Star every year since 2004.  As a licensed attorney, Mr. Turchin’s combined legal and business background has proven to be a major advantage in arranging, structuring and negotiating transactions.  Mr. Turchin is also active in the real estate community, regularly teaching internal classes and continuing education classes for the Real Estate Board of New York.  He also has regular appearances on Bloomberg News and The Stoler Report.
