Flushing Plaza is one of the largest commercial buildings in the area and one of the best-performing assets in the Muss portfolio. It operates at a very high occupancy and historically commands rents that rival those in many areas of Manhattan. Ideally located in a major shopping area in the booming Asian community of downtown Flushing, this office and retail complex was formerly the home of a major department store. The two-level building was acquired by Muss in 1981 and converted in 1983 into 165,000 square feet of custom-designed office and retail space.
