Executive Summary
Camp Alandale currently operates via a U.S. Department of Agriculture Forest Service Term Special Use Permit issued January 1, 2016, which expires on December 31, 2035. The permit does NOT provide for automatic renewal. Any transfer of title to the improvements covered by the permit shall result in termination of the permit. Therefore, in the instance of a sale of the camp, the party who acquires title to the improvements must submit an application for a new permit. The property operates as Camp Alandale, a children’s camp facility. The camp historically operated during the summer months (June–August) and winter months (January–March), with reported capacity for approximately 225 campers. Camp Alandale is now vacant and available for immediate occupancy as the owners of the camp have moved to another location. For the year built, ownership reports one of the buildings dates to 1989.
