PROPERTY OVERVIEW
Well-located in the heart of Midtown Manhattan, on the site of the old W. & J. Sloane Store, 575 Fifth is steps away from some of the most popular landmarks, parks, shopping and dining destinations in the United States. 575 Fifth captures the energy of the area with its updated lobby featuring digital LED screens with custom media and state-of-the-art tenant amenities. The lower levels consist of a 55,000 square-foot, four-level retail atrium with a stained glass ceiling. It is convenient to Grand Central Station and all public transportation and provides panoramic views. In 2016, ownership performed a full renovation of the building lobby, with upgrades that included new granite floors, marble walls, a wrap-around digital media banner, with 17’ ceiling heights throughout. In addition to the lobby renovation, the building’s elevators have been fully-modernized with a new destination dispatch system and newly-finished cab interiors. Coming in 2022, the East Side Access is the MTA’s largest capital project. The finished project will provide Long Island Rail Road riders with 40 miles of new tracks, a new terminal beneath Grand Central, and the modernization of the busiest intersection of passenger train lines in North America.

SUSTAINABILITY
ENERGY STAR® Energy Star is a program run by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) that promotes energy efficiency and provides simple, credible, and unbiased information that consumers and businesses rely on to make well-informed decisions. Thousands of industrial, commercial, utility, state, and local organizations partner with the EPA to deliver cost-saving energy efficiency solutions that protect the climate while improving air quality and protecting public health. The Energy Star score compares a building’s energy performance to similar buildings nationwide and accounts for differences in operating conditions, regional weather data, and other important considerations. Certification is given on an annual basis, so a building must maintain its high performance to be certified year to year. To be eligible for Energy Star certification, a building must earn a score of 75 or higher on EPA’s 1 – 100 scale, indicating that it performs better than at least 75 percent of similar buildings nationwide. This 1 – 100 Energy Star score is based on the actual, measured energy use of a building and is calculated within EPA’s Energy Star Portfolio Manager tool.
