The Grand Block building is a historic building located in the center of Amherst recently purchased by a family-owned real estate company with over 50 years of experience in town. The original site in 1765 was the first school in Amherst and in 1881 the Hunt brothers constructed the building that stands now with the addition of the fourth floor in 1913.
