ABOUT BALLSTON
The well-located Ballston neighborhood of Arlington has long been established as a favorite among residents and employers in Northern Virginia. At the western end of Arlington's Rosslyn-Ballston corridor, the Metro rail's Ballston-MU Orange and Silver lines station serve commuters and residents alike. The $330 million redevelopment of the Ballston Common Mall into Ballston Quarter transformed the space into the area's entertainment hub. Unveiled in 2019, the newly built attraction features a large, open-air food hall offering lunch options for workers; retail; and nightlife venues, including a bowling-alley restaurant-and-bar hybrid.
The office inventory here skews older, and new construction has largely been absent in recent years, according to CoStar data.
