Matthew Morrison, Vice President
Prior to joining Transwestern, Matthew primarily focused on project leasing for a national REIT and local developers and site selection for regional clients in the greater Houston area.
Before beginning his career in commercial real estate, Matthew worked in deepwater drilling operations on drill ships and semi-submersible rigs in the Gulf of Mexico and abroad in the Philippines, in addition to semi-submersible rig management and project management in the shipyard in Corpus Christi, Texas.
Carter Jones
Prior to joining Transwestern, Carter completed internships with Sealy & Company, Industrial & Development Ventures, and HORNE. In these varied roles, Carter was able to get hands-on experience in property and asset management, ground-up, institutional quality industrial development, and accounting related to the construction industry. His time with each of these companies gives him a unique skill set and intimate knowledge of commercial real estate from multiple lenses.
Gaining a master’s degree in accounting from Millsaps College, Carter was a three-time Dean’s List honoree. In college, Carter was a five-year letter winner in baseball and made the Southern Athletic Association honor roll during graduate school. Also, as co-philanthropy chair of his fraternity, Carter oversaw many projects, including leading charity events that led his chapter to become the smallest chapter to raise $10,000 for a motorized track wheelchair for a disabled veteran.
