The Texas Medical Center is the largest medical city in the world, servicing over 10 million patient encounters each year and home to 1/5th of all medical clinics. While already in a class of its own, the TMC3 campus expansion to the south will bring an additional five million square feet, accelerating the discovery and delivery of life-changing advancements. The Texas Medical Center alone is the eighth largest business district in the US, and TMC3 will redefine the modern medical community by creating an inflection point of science and commerce. TMC3 will bring a 250,000-square-foot collaborative building, a 700,000-square-foot industry research building, 18.7 acres of public space, a 521-room hotel with an expansive conference center, and a 350-unit residential tower with retail lining the street level of the campus. Professionals can start their morning with an espresso from the Great Hall, attend a seminar on the latest healthcare developments, and apply what they’ve learned in the world-class laboratories before retiring to their quarters overlooking the commanding Houston skyline. TMC3 emphasizes walkability and allows medical experts to embrace the modern live-work lifestyle, simultaneously fostering creativity and wellness to focus on the next earth-shaking discovery.
