Adam Ifshin, the visionary Founder and CEO of DLC, established the company in 1991 and has grown DLC into a leading force in retail real estate. Mr. Ifshin oversees a dedicated team of more than 130 real estate, construction, and design professionals. Through strategic and innovative deal-making, he drives value creation in retail real estate, navigating the landscape with opportunistic approaches for both assets and retailers. Having played a pivotal role in real estate transactions totaling over $5 billion, Mr. Ifshin is directly involved in DLC’s acquisitions and dispositions, capital markets activities, redevelopments, joint ventures, and corporate strategy. His expertise extends to navigating the complexities of foreclosures, bankruptcies, and restructurings. A respected figure in the industry, Mr. Ifshin has contributed significantly to the field. He has held long-term leadership roles on the Executive Board of Trustees, ICSC, and served as a ULI Council Chairman and Council Counselor. He has also provided testimony on behalf of the shopping center industry before both the United States House of Representatives and the Senate.Beyond his role at DLC, Mr. Ifshin is the co-founder and President of Delphi Commercial Properties, Inc., a specialized real estate brokerage firm. He is also the Founder and Owner of Renovo Construction and has an affiliate relationship with NWS Architects. Before founding DLC, Mr. Ifshin held key positions, including Vice President of Project Development for The Delphi Land Company, Inc., and Project Manager for Empire State Land Company. Educationally, Mr. Ifshin holds a BA, cum laude, from Williams College, with honors degrees in economics and history, and is a Phi Beta Kappa. He furthered his education by completing the Running a Real Estate Company course at Harvard University’s Graduate School in 2003.
