Bio
Adam Smith is a Louisiana native with a background rooted in entrepreneurship and real estate investment. He holds both a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and an MBA from Louisiana Tech University, where he developed a strong foundation in financial analysis, property strategy, and market evaluation. Adam’s biggest asset however is his passion for people. Connecting with people and aiding in their success as investors is what’s at the core of Adam’s real estate journey.
At DuWest, Adam focuses on retail brokerage, specializing in shopping centers, ground-up development, and single-tenant buildings. His approach centers on building long-term relationships and helping landlords, tenants, and developers create sustainable value within high-growth trade areas. Outside of work, Adam is most at home outdoors — spending most of his time hunting and fishing. His competitive, steady, and curious personality carries through both in the field and in his work, where he enjoys solving complex challenges and uncovering opportunities that others may overlook.
