Alan has been a licensed real estate broker since 1983. He specializes in the sales and leasing of office, industrial and retail properties and the sale of raw land for development. Alan developed and managed commercial real estate for many years, serving as the President of the Gaughan Companies for 17 years.
Alan's mission is to consistently deliver to his clients the most professional and comprehensive commercial real estate service in the Twin Cities and surrounding areas.
Alan holds BA and MA degrees from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. His Master's Degree is in Urban and Regional Planning. He served as the City Planner/Community Development Director for the City of Coon Rapids from 1971-1977.
Alan is married and is a father and step father. He has numerous interests including sports, hunting, fishing, billiards, gardening, reading and travel.
