Alan Zell is the Principal and Designated Broker for ZELL Commercial Real Estate Services, Inc. Alan started the firm in 1977 to manage and lease a portfolio of five shopping centers and has expanded operations to include property management and/or leasing representation more than forty shopping centers comprised of more than 4,000,000 square feet. Alan has leased several hundred thousand square feet of space to national, regional and local retailers, served as a consultant for numerous client requirements, and served as an investment broker for the sale and/or acquisition of over thirty shopping centers for clients.
Alan earned a B.S. in Finance from the University of Rhode Island and an MBA from Boston University. He has a Certified Shopping Center Manager (CSM) designation from ICSC and has been a speaker at numerous retail conferences and has written articles for many local and national trade publications.
