Bio
Alex Foster is the Managing Partner & Co-Founder at Atlas Real Estate Partners. Alex is involved in all aspects of company leadership, including acquisitions financing, asset management and investor relations. Prior to founding Atlas, he worked with New York based owner-operator, Argent Ventures, where he identified, analyzed and negotiated value-add acquisition opportunities across various asset types, geographies, and ownership positions. He also assisted in the asset management of a $500M mixed-use portfolio. Prior to Argent, Alex was part of the acquisitions/finance team at Rockrose Development, assisting in the full-scale execution of several office buildings in New York and Washington D.C., with a combined value of $600M. In addition, he assisted in the acquisition of several office buildings in New York and Washington D.C., with a combined value of $600M and closed on $500M in multifamily construction loans and refinancings.
Before Rockrose, Alex spent two years working in the Real Estate Finance group at Bank of America negotiating and structuring new commercial loan requests totaling more than $100M. Alex holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from Tufts University and a Masters in Real Estate Development from Columbia University. He is an avid traveler and enjoys tennis, golf, running, art, and sampling New York’s epicurean delights.
