Bio
Alex joined Harvest Properties in 2024. As a member of Harvest’s acquisitions team, Alex’s primary responsibilities include underwriting potential investment opportunities across the Bay Area and supporting the acquisition and disposition process. Prior to joining Harvest, Alex was a member of the Investments team at Tidewater Capital for seven years. His previous work experience includes roles at Lazard Frères & Co. and Blackstone.
A native of San Francisco, Alex holds a Bachelor’s degree from Brown University and serves on the boards of the Downtown SF Partnership and Seneca Family of Agencies. While not working, Alex enjoys hiking, visiting National Parks and all things San Francisco.
Before joining Tidewater, Mr. Kaplan worked at Lazard Frères & Co., where he was an Investment Banking Analyst in the Technology, Media and Telecommunications group and was involved in a variety of M&A transactions. His previous work experience includes roles at The Blackstone Group and Morgan Stanley in New York City.
A native of San Francisco, Mr. Kaplan holds a Bachelor of the Arts in History from Brown University.
