Bio
Alex Lowdell is an experienced real estate professional with more than twelve years of sector experience, specialising in office, science and technology leasing. Before joining Ironstone to support the Life Science REIT portfolio, he spent nine years at DTRE, one of the UK’s leading real estate advisory firms, working within the Office, Science and Technology leasing team. His work there focused on advising landlords and occupiers across a range of innovation-led and commercial environments.
At Ironstone, Alex is part of the Asset Management team, where he plays a key role in driving leasing activity and reducing vacancy across the Life Science REIT portfolio. He brings strong analytical, negotiation and market engagement skills, supported by a background in both consultancy and landlord advisory.
Alex holds a BA in Archaeology from the University of Sheffield and an MSc in Real Estate from Kingston University, combining academic depth with practical industry expertise.
