Alex Munoz was born in Brooklyn, NY and raised in Miami, FL. As Director of Leasing, he is responsible for the strategy and execution of The Shopping Center Group’s landlord services business in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia. Alex has extensive knowledge of markets from Washington, DC to Miami and is consistently recognized as an innovative thinker with exceptional problem solving skills. Prior to joining The Shopping Center Group in 2003, Alex was a retail leasing agent with a Miami-based commercial real estate firm that specialized in leasing and managing power centers and grocery-anchored shopping centers. Alex graduated from Nova Southeastern University in Davie, FL with a Bachelor of Science in Education and has completed numerous courses in leadership and administration. Alex lives in Charlotte, NC with his wife and two children.
