Alex Ruggieri serves as a senior advisor for SVN-Ramshaw Real Estate specializing in the sale of investment properties in Champaign-Urbana, Central Illinois, and beyond. With more than 40 years of commercial real estate industry experience, he has built an array of valuable business, real estate, and banking community contacts that benefit his clients. Ruggieri has secured a transaction career sales volume of more than $500 million.
Career highlights include being the recipient of SVN International Corps. Achievers Award for outstanding sales and the highly sought-after Partner’s Circle Award (the company’s highest sales award) multiple times. He frequently contributes to Illinois Realtor Magazine with his column Commercial Corner and has authored commercial real estate articles for regional and national real estate trade publications such as Units Magazine, Mid-West Real Estate News, and Heartland Real Estate Business.
Ruggieri holds the CRE, CCIM, CIPS, and FIABCI designations under the National Association of REALTORS (NAR) and is a member in good standing of The Society of Exchange Counselors and The National Council of Exchangers as well as holding a master’s in business degree (MBA) from the University of Illinois.
Ruggieri is active on every level in his profession. He holds membership in the Champaign County Association of Realtors, Illinois Realtors, and the National Association of Realtors. He has served in countless leadership positions over the years including Chair of the Global Business Council for IR, Chair of the Commercial Leadership Forum for NAR, and represents NAR on IHC-Global a foundation promoting smart urban development worldwide.
Alex lives in Tuscola Illinois with his beautiful wife Sylvia. They are the parents of five children and grandparents to fourteen.
