Bio
Alireza (Ali) Esmaeilzadeh is a Senior Vice President of Development and leads the multifamily and commercial development teams within the greater New York, New Jersey and Boston, MA regions.
Ali joined Brookfield Properties in 2018 and has since held a few roles across the organization, including Senior Vice President of Leasing and Asset Management for the legacy Forest City portfolio. Prior to joining Brookfield Properties, Ali headed the NYC offices of Forest City Enterprises and previous to that, he was a banker in the investment banking division of Scotiabank in Toronto, Ontario.
Ali proudly serves on the Brooklyn Hospital’s Board of Trustees, as well as the boards of Brooklyn Horizons, Greenpoint Manufacturing Design Center, and The Acting Company. He is the Chairman of the MetroTech Business Improvement District; board member and secretary of the Downtown Brooklyn Partnership; board member of the Times Square Alliance and Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce.
