Bio
Dr. Amie and her husband, Dr. Abraham, founded Asha Partners with the desire to apply God’s heart of compassion and love for the impoverished through international holistic community transformation projects. She brings over twenty years of experience in cross-cultural ministry and program leadership having served diverse clients in the U.S., East Asia, the Middle East, and South Asia.
Dr. Amie received a B.A., M.Ed., and Ph.D. degrees in the field of Education from universities in Texas. Through her experience as a faculty member in higher education, she developed two master’s degree programs and has taught undergraduate and master’s courses at U.S. universities. A specialist in literacy and English as a second / foreign language education, she combines her passion for empowering girls and women in poverty through educational and economic opportunities with leadership and research initiatives that help drive our educational and community transformation projects.
