Sandquist has more than 28 years of experience advising occupiers and owners of net leased properties in structured finance and commercial real estate and focuses on counseling clients regarding customized real estate monetization strategies. Sandquist utilizes his commercial banking and investment banking background to creatively structure, negotiate, price and finance leveraged real estate transactions. Sandquist has closed recent transactions representing more than 104 million square feet and $6 billion in value across North America, Europe and Asia. Primary clients include M&A private equity sponsors and corporate occupiers.
Prior to joining Newmark, Sandquist served as Executive Vice President of CBRE’s Corporate Capital Markets practice and played an integral role in both the Capital Markets and Global Corporate Services groups, providing capital markets advisory and execution expertise for planned and existing assets on behalf of M&A private equity sponsors, corporate users, developers and owners.
