Andy Gloor serves as Chief Executive Officer at Sterling Bay, where he oversees a national real estate portfolio valued at approximately $20 billion in existing and future assets. Under his leadership, Sterling Bay has expanded its footprint across more than a dozen U.S. markets, developing and managing premier creative office, residential, industrial, and life science properties. Gloor directs a team of over 150 professionals and spearheads the firm’s philanthropic initiative, SB Cares, which supports hundreds of nonprofits, including Misericordia, Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago, and Cara Collective. His tenure has been marked by transformative projects such as corporate headquarters for McDonald’s, Google, and C.H. Robinson, positioning Sterling Bay as a leader in urban innovation districts. Gloor joined Sterling Bay in 2002 as Principal and played a pivotal role in evolving the firm into a fully integrated real estate investment and development company. Prior to Sterling Bay, he was Managing Director at Insignia/ESG, where he completed over five million square feet of commercial real estate transactions. He began his career as a tenant-side commercial real estate broker, building a strong network that later enabled Sterling Bay to secure off-market deals and strategic partnerships. Over the past decade, Gloor has overseen acquisitions totaling $3.4 billion and negotiated long-term leases with major corporations, reinforcing Sterling Bay’s reputation for adaptive reuse and ground-up development projects.
