Aron Grenader, President of First Houston Properties, Inc.
Aron Grenader began his real estate career in the mid-1970’s. In this early period, Aron gained experience in leasing, property management, acquisitions and development of industrial income properties for a family-owned real estate investment company. Before concentrating on a brokerage career, Aron Grenader was actively involved in the Institute of Real Estate Management and achieved a Certified Property Manager (CPM)designation.
In 1982, Aron Grenader co-founded First Houston Properties, Inc., a commercial/industrial real estate brokerage company. The company continues to excel in the location of facilities and sites, in sales and leasing of industrial properties on behalf of buyers and tenants, sellers and landlords, and in the acquisition of income properties for its investor clients. From its early history, Aron helped First Houston Properties build an excellent reputation for professionalism and integrity and its high standards of commitment, performance, and the results achieved for its clients.
Since the formation of First Houston Properties, Aron Grenader has built an excellent track record and has been actively involved in lease and sale transactions in excess of 5 million square feet of space. Aron is actively involved in representation of leading companies in a number of market sectors including flooring distribution, the packaging industry, and the logistics/transportation industry .
Career highlights include: representation of the buyer of a 300,000 square foot industrial plant facility, a major Canadian import-export company, co-representation of the Buyer in the 1997 sale of the 1.4 million square foot Hines Industrial Portfolio, representation of the Seller of a 220,000 square foot multi-tenant industrial park in Northwest Houston, leasing of over 800,000 square feet of distribution space, to a major logistics/transportation company. A most recent highlight included representation of same logistics company in the long term lease of a new state-of -the -art 178,200 square foot cargo-handling facility across from Barbours Cut Terminal in Morgans Point, Texas .
Aron has represented investor clients in the acquisition, asset management, leasing, and financing of over 750,000 square feet of industrial income properties.
A native Houstonian ,Aron Grenader graduated from Bellaire High School in 1966 . He then graduated from Tulane University in 1970 with a B.A. Degree , and was a member of the U.S. Army Reserves from 1970-1976.
Aron Grenader is a member of the Houston Association of Realtors, the Texas Association of Realtors, The Greater Houston Partnership, and the Houston Coffee Association. He is a recent member of the Mayor Brown’s Super Neighborhood Council for Denver Harbor, an east Houston neighborhood.
Aron has been married since 1974 to Amy Zieben Grenader, and has two sons, Michael and Drew, both of whom are vice-presidents of First Houston Properties. Aron’s interests include reading, bicycling, exercising, photography, and traveling
