Barry is a Principal at MLG Capital who sits on the Investment Committee and is on the Board of Directors. Barry has been with MLG since 1989.
Throughout Barry’s career in brokerage, he helped lead the MLG brokerage team and was one of its principals. Barry led the sales team and was the recipient of the “Sales Associate of the Year” award 17 times over his brokerage career of 35 years. This honor is bestowed on the sales associate who achieved the highest sales volume each year. Barry has extensive experience in industrial real estate negotiations along with business park development and marketing.
As a Principal, Barry works closely with all facets of the MLG Capital team, from fundraising and sourcing, to asset management, investor relations and mentoring. His knowledge and experience, along with his relationships, have helped mold and grow the MLG Capital group throughout the years.
Barry graduated from business school at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. He is a member of CARW (Commercial Association of Realtor of Wisconsin) and SIOR (Society of Industrial and Office Realtors). Barry had the honor of being the Chairman of CARW, which has a membership of more than 1,000 commercial real estate professionals. He also served on the executive committee for CARW, and served as the President of SIOR Wisconsin Chapter. Barry is a member of the National Association of Realtors, University of Wisconsin Alumni Association, Wisconsin Realtors, CARW and SIOR.
