Bassem specializes in Office and Industrial properties and is based in the Tampa, Florida office. He is passionate about his work, persistent and strives to inspire his clients to make critical investment choices. He believes that the long-term business relationship is the main pillar for his business. Bassem consistently serves as a true advisor to all clients and owners of Office and Industrial properties in the Tampa market.
Bassem graduated as a Mechanical Engineer back in 2004 and received his degree from Helwan University in Egypt. In 2013, he earned his masters degree in international business from ESLSCA in France. In 2018, Bassem obtained his real estate license and has been practicing real estate in both Florida and Texas.
Prior to joining Marcus & Millichap, Bassem worked for ExxonMobil for 12 years, and held six different roles covering Operations, R&D and Sales. In 2017, Bassem relocated to the United States and made a career change from oil and gas to the commercial real estate industry. Through his collective 19 years of corporate and professional careers, he had the opportunity of living and working in Africa, Europe and North America and dealt with many cultures, and traveled to more than 20 countries.
Bassem speaks Arabic, English and French, and is an active member of his church, while volunteering with Metropolitan Ministries.
