Ben Gelhaus serves as Vice President and Investment Team Lead at Welltower Inc. (NYSE: WELL), where he leads a team responsible for managing more than $10 billion of existing real estate investments and overseeing the underwriting, structuring, and documentation of new transactions. Prior to Welltower, Mr. Gelhaus held senior investment roles at RMB Capital Management, where he focused on asset allocation and real estate investments within private equity structures. Earlier in his career, he worked in commercial real estate lending and special assets at Fifth Third Bank and Bank of America, managing complex credit, distressed asset, and underwriting assignments. Mr. Gelhaus brings more than a decade of experience spanning public REIT investments, private capital allocation, and commercial real estate finance.
