Mr. Simões brings over 8 years of experience in commercial real estate, with expertise in acquisitions, dispositions, finance, leasing, asset management, market research and property management. Prior to joining Global Building, Mr. Simões worked at F&C Investments (company had £82 billion under management) as Fund Manager for Portugal. There he was responsible for analyzing and reporting fund performances, assembling and analyzing external valuations, asset management, and acquisitions for a portfolio in excess of 350 million euros in Portugal. He also interacted with third party brokers and consultants to define the best strategy for the assets.
Prior to F&C Investments, Mr. Simões worked for DTZ, a global leader in property services. There he was responsible for the market research, feasibility studies and consultant projects for a wide variety of clients and sectors.
Mr. Simões earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Catholic University of Portugal and Master of Science in Real Estate from the University of San Diego. He also did Business Analysis and Valuation coursework at London School of Economics
