Brett is a senior managing director in the Philadelphia office of JLL Capital Markets, Americas. He joined JLL as part of the HFF acquisition and is primarily responsible for originating office investment advisory transactions and life science equity and debt placement opportunities throughout the northeastern United States.
He has significant commercial real estate transactional experience in the Mid-Atlantic region, including Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware. Since December 2013, Mr. Segal has successfully executed more than $3.8 billion in investment sale volume. Brett started at HFF in October 2016. Before that, he was a director of Capital Markets in the Philadelphia office of Newmark Grubb Knight Frank, where he specialized in investment sales of office, multifamily and development sites. Prior to his time at Newmark, Brett was an asset manager specializing in office, retail and multifamily management, as well as residential development management for institutional clients at Grosvenor Fund Management. He managed separate accounts for various domestic accounts in addition to international clients located in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Australia, Spain and the United Kingdom. Brett began his diverse real estate career as an auditor at KPMG specializing in REITs and insurance companies.
