Brett Thorne is an Associate at CBRE’s Toronto West office with a focus on investment grade acquisitions and dispositions in the Greater Toronto Area and in markets across Ontario.
Brett’s journey to real estate began at Michigan Technological University, where he studied finance and played Division 1 hockey. His drive and determination earned him the title of American-Krampade Scholar Athlete and provided him with the honor of being named Captain of the school’s hockey team. Prior to joining CBRE Brett managed over $2 million in assets for his school's pension fund, with a focus on maximizing value. This experience led him to join the TW Capital Market’s Team upon completion of his degree and hockey career.
Brett joined CBRE in 2023 and has quickly transitioned into the role of sales representative on a team with extremely deep market knowledge, vast experience, and a proven track record. Brett’s time at CBRE has allowed him to expand his market knowledge, analyze trends, collaborate with industry professionals, and forge relationships built on trust, transparency, and consistency.
