Bio
Siep is a very social person who loves to work with—and socialize with—other Pack members. He learned a valuable lesson early on when working in France as part of the Euro Disney opening team, where he took to heart the humility taught by learning to never assume you know what people really want before giving them a chance to tell you. It’s an insight he applies through all his work. Siep is very proud of having been able to pay his experience forward by mentoring some amazingly talented people he worked with over the years, and who are now all leaders in the hospitality industry.
Siep grew up in Holland, where he also met his wife before moving to California to attend college. He loves his time at home in Florida with his wife, dog, and cat, but also loves his time in his second home: the city of lights, Paris. He started a local Parisian brewing company, making American-style craft beers, which has developed a great reputation. He’s very proud of his daughter who’s “making it in New York” as a media manager for a marketing agency specializing in fashion. Siep has been running and paddling for 30 years and loves to compete in races, with his favorite being the Sarasota 5K run & 5K paddle race—combining both of his passions.
Siep naturally gravitated to the hospitality industry where he has spent time in every imaginable segment. He started in traditional hotels, with Marriott and contract management with Marriott facilities services. He was then recruited by Disney to be part of the opening team of the Euro Disney resort outside of Paris, France. From there he jumped to the “Eatertainment” segment, running the Planet Hollywood chain of restaurants before joining Live Nation, where he ran food & beverage at all Live Nation music venues in the U.S. He’s been with Great Wolf since early 2022.
