Bruce has been sourcing debt and equity capital and structuring transactions for development, acquisition, and recapitalization assignments across all property types in major markets throughout the United States and Canada for over 30 years.
Currently a senior producer with JLL Capital Markets, Bruce joined HFF in 2006 and was previously co-head of the San Francisco office prior to the 2019 merger with JLL. From 2000 through 2006 Bruce held senior positions with mortgage brokerage firms including Cohen Financial and Insignia ESG. Prior to his advisory and brokerage experience, Bruce spent 10 years as a real estate lender at Scotiabank (1990-1998) and GE Capital (1998-2000), where his responsibilities included handling special asset workouts and structuring debt transactions for institutional real estate clients in Canada and the western United States.
Bruce began his real estate career in 1990 in Toronto, Canada and moved to San Francisco in 1994. As a seasoned professional in the commercial real estate industry, Bruce has developed long-standing client relationships built on a foundation of integrity and trust.
