Bruce Marshall serves as Managing Director for SVN, specializing in the sale of office, office flex, industrial, retail, and multifamily properties in Dallas, Texas. Marshall has been actively involved in commercial real estate investments in the DFW Marketplace for the past thirty-seven years. He has completed more than 300 transactions valued in excess of $800 million.
Mr. Marshall founded DataVest, Inc. in 1984. The firm has acted as a fiduciary for both international and domestic investors in real property acquisition and disposition. His investment client base has included investors from Saudi Arabia, India, Canada, England, South Africa, and Japan.
His real estate career is a diverse one and includes extensive personal involvement in institutional lending, commercial and residential real estate development, equity placement, commercial mortgage loan placement, general contracting, tenant representation, limited partnership syndication, property management, and real estate brokerage. Mr. Marshall is a member of the SVN Asset Recoverty Team which specializes in problem real estate workouts, asset repositioning, and asset disposition of distressed real property assets. He associated with SVN in November of 2004 and has been a recipient of their “Achievers Award” in 2005 and 2006 and received “Partner’s Circle” designation in 2007 and 2013,2014,and 2015.
Marshall is a 1972 “magna cum laude” graduate from Denison University in Granville, Ohio and graduated from Williston Academy in Easthampton, Mass in 1968. He is married to Georgia Cramer Marshall and they have six children ranging in age from nineteen to twenty-nine.
