Butch Payne is a lifetime resident of Montauk, New York. A natural outdoorsman with a keen eye for site analysis, construction and the art of site development, Butch immersed himself in the building industry at an early age.
Excavation and site preparation became his expertise, and he cultivated his reputation in local circles as the best in the business. In 2000, Butch started Butch Payne Excavation. Butch and Joe met in 1998 on a Farrell Building Co. job site. A natural alliance in business was solidified by friendship and helped to strengthen the Farrell team, in house self-performing capabilities, and family philosophy. Butch’s company has served as the site expert for every Farrell job since 1998.
In 2014, Butch officially joined the Farrell Building Co. team full-time. Today, serving as President of Farrell Companies he oversees day to day construction and operations. His knowledge and experience in the building industry and broad base of relationships continue to serve Farrell in leveraging buying power and managing resources to ensure smooth, quality first completion of every project in every sector.
