Carlos Rodriguez Jr. is the Co-Founder, President, and Chief Executive Officer of Driftwood Capital, a hospitality platform designed to operate across investment management, development, lending, and hotel operations. The firm manages approximately $3.5 billion in gross asset value and, through Driftwood Hospitality Management, operates more than 80 hotels for institutional and entrepreneurial ownership groups.
Carlos has spent his career building platforms that integrate capital, operations, and data-driven decision-making across the hospitality ecosystem. Prior to founding Driftwood Capital, he led Driftwood Acquisitions and Development and previously served as a Managing Partner at Casanovo Partners, where he oversaw ground-up development and launched an EB-5 financing program. He began his career at LNR Property, working across special servicing, asset management, and restructuring during a formative period in the CMBS market. Carlos earned his B.A. from Duke University.
