Catherine joined Wilshire Advisory Group from its inception. With a background of over 30 years of design and construction experience, coupled with a real estate background in sales and management, Catherine brings a unique perspective to the team. Additionally, she is able to assist in space planning and design while bringing valuable insight into construction budgeting to meet specific client needs.
Catherine is the founder of Design House, a company created in 2001 specializing in remodeling and new construction with projects completed in the greater Los Angeles area. She became a California State Licensed General Contractor in 1993 and has degree in interior design. Creating projects from the ground up, Catherine spec built at a time when women were rarely present in the construction field, yet she was there from the initial process to completion.
A native Californian, Catherine graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Madison and began her career in Southern California as a project manager. There she worked specializing in commercial construction and obtained her General Contractors license. After years working in the industry, Catherine had turned her efforts into purchasing properties and creating her vision through careful planning and design. Her meticulous efforts showed in the unique projects that were completed through her company Design House.
